WEEK 3

How to create healthy, robust digestion; eliminate constipation, IBS, reflux and other digestive issues:

– What is Digestion?

– Agni, Ojas, Ama – Digestion, Vitality and the disease process

– Nutrition to support optimal digestive health

– Ayurvedic Nutrition

– The 6 tastes

– Remedies for IBS, Constipation, reflux and other digestive upset

WEEK 4

The art of longevity; daily and seasonal routines for vitality and mindbody balance (dinacharya and ritucharya). Strengthen immunity, create abundant energy and positivity:

Presenters:

Alex and Tegan are Ayurvedic Practitioners and Educators. 

They both lecture on Ayurvedic Medicine at various Ayurvedic schools and Yoga Teacher Trainings and you can find them running workshops around Australia and overseas. 

Their knowledge is complemented by Sukhavatis in-resident Ayurvedic Doctor, Dr. Mithun Raju who shares classical Ayurveda and insights from his family lineage.

This is the first time these 3 Ayurvedic minds have come together to deliver a comprehensive and practical course. 

Alex Griffith

Alex is a health and wellness professional who provides holistic therapies, fitness coaching and stress management to individuals and businesses. Alex is a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, fitness coach, yoga instructor, lecturer and meditation teacher who believes a healthy mind and healthy body is the foundation of everything, both professionally and personally.

Tegan Wallis

Tegan is a qualified holistic health practitioner and Meditation Teacher. She specialises in Veda Meditation, Ayurvedic Medicine, Naturopathy, Holistic Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, and is also a Certified Yoga Teacher. Tegan’s work combines ancient mind/body medicine with the fruits of modern medical research, offering her clients practical advice for achieving health, happiness and vibrancy. Tegan is passionate about sharing the body of knowledge she has built up over her years of study, supporting others on their own journey to health and happiness.

Special Guest appearance:

Dr Mithun Raju

Dr Raju has been practising Ayurveda since his graduation in 2009 and comes from a long-line of Ayurvedic Doctors. The Raju family is a well-known, traditional Ayurvedic family, that has been involved in Ayurvedic practises for over 400 years. Dr Raju practises the famous Ayurvedic, pulse diagnosis technique, which is a specialty technique.
