This steamy hot cup of tea is a delight for your mind and body. It calms and harmonise the Vata Dosha.
This tea aids in building resilience to stress, alleviates an overactive mind and helps you to get sound sleep – counterbalancing the affects of Vata on the Nervous system. This tea is also a great to support digestive function. It alleviates gas, flatulence, bloating and gently kindles our digestive fire to alleviate constipation. Take after meals to soothe your stomach.
A perfect tea to sip on throughout Autumn to keep you warm from the inside.
Drink throughout the day as much as you need.
¼ tsp ajiwan seeds
¼ tsp ground cardamom
¼ tsp cinnamon powder (or 1 cinnamon stick)
¼ tsp fresh grated ginger (or dry ginger powder)
¼ tsp cumin seeds
1 cup water
Mix all spices together with water. Boil for 2 minutes then remove from heat. Steep the tea, covered, for 2 minutes more. Strain and discard spices and serve warm. Can sweeten with Jaggery or Maple syrup only.
